We were asked to renovate this beautiful home on the Vegastraat in Amsterdam Noord. The place wasn't really renovated since it was built in the 30’s. We insulated the home, remade all installations to be up to standard, and extended the house on the back, and in the attic. The extension is made from wood, and features an Accoya wood window frame. The ceiling height is maximized to maximize the amount of light entering the home. It also features a window in the roof, but we emphasized the construction of the open ceiling by continuing the beams under the window.
